Some Chiropodists now use the title Podiatrist, which is the internationally recognised name for clinicians who specialise in foot health. These titles are interchangeable & are protected by the Health Professions Council

All chiropodists and podiatrists, from whom you may seek treatment with or without a referral by a GP, must complete a three year degree course to obtain registration, in order to practice.
